Terms of Service

Last updated: March 8, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using Siglot (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you're accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to do so. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What We Provide

Siglot is a cloud-based e-signature platform. You can upload and send documents for signature, sign documents electronically, create templates, send in bulk, and use AI-assisted features for document analysis.

We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

3. Your Account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Siglot. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

Please provide accurate information when registering. We may suspend accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

4. Electronic Signatures

Signatures created through Siglot are designed to comply with the US ESIGN Act, UETA, and EU eIDAS Regulation and are intended to be legally binding.

You're responsible for verifying the identity of your signers. Siglot generates a tamper-evident audit trail for each document. You should keep your own copies of signed documents.

Siglot is a technology platform — we don't provide legal advice. For advice on whether e-signatures are valid for your specific use case, consult a lawyer.

5. Your Content

You own the documents and content you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the Service.

You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload content and that doing so doesn't violate anyone's rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. AI Features

When you use AI-powered features, your document content may be processed by a third-party AI provider (such as Anthropic or OpenAI). We don't use your documents to train AI models.

AI output is for informational purposes only and isn't legal advice. Always review AI-generated results before acting on them. AI features are subject to monthly usage limits based on your plan.

7. Acceptable Use

Please don't use Siglot to:

  • Forge, falsify, or misrepresent any signature or identity
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights
  • Transmit malware or harmful code
  • Attempt unauthorised access to our systems
  • Reverse-engineer or copy the Service to build a competing product
  • Use automated scrapers or bots without our permission

8. Subscription & Payment

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at [email protected] within 30 days.

We'll give at least 30 days' notice before changing prices for existing subscribers.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms, pose a security risk, or for legal reasons.

We recommend exporting your documents before closing your account. After deletion, data is removed within 90 days unless we're legally required to keep it longer.

10. Our IP

The Siglot platform, brand, and all associated software are owned by Siglot and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms give you a right to use the Service — they don't transfer any ownership to you.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Siglot's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of: (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Before starting any formal proceedings, please contact us at [email protected] to try to resolve the issue informally.

If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, nothing here removes your rights under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
